Incredibly Lazy Peanut Butter Cookies!

Peanut Butter Cookies, image from http://www.sailusfood.com

Sometimes I want a cookie, really want a cookie, but I don’t have the supplies nor the time to make anything fancy. Then I remember I have a jar of peanut butter in the cupboard, so I get baking!

This recipe is incredibly simple and the results are really tasty! Just be forewarned, these cookies are very peanut buttery. Hope you like them. ;0

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of smooth peanut butter (I prefer organic myself)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (I prefer sucanat or rapadura)

Let’s Get Baking!

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the ingredients together in a bowel
  3. Roll mixture into 24 little balls
  4. Put the balls on a baking sheet, about 3-4 inches apart and flatten them
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until browned (keep your eye on them so they don’t burn!)
  6. Cool and eat. Yummy!

Sometimes, for fun, I add some chocolate chips. You just can’t beat peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies! ;0

  1. I am cooking these as I type… except I have nothing to measure the ingredients with, so it’s all a big guess, haha… I’ll let you know how they turn out…!

    • Hi Emy! Yes, they can be sweet depending on the sugar used. Maybe the recipe would be better with less. As for the PB being oily, it really does depend on the product used. I haven’t made these in ages…maybe I will with slightly different ingredients. ;0

  2. Well we had nothing to measure with, so I think I put too much sugar in! I’ll try it again some time with different peanut butter.. they were OK though, definitely edible!
